Please note that I can not boot into recovery mode as the video does not
work there. I get a prompt only.
My goal i to try to get X to start with sudo nano /etc/default/grub find
line GRUB_ CMDLINE=LINJUS"" so ican add video=LVDS-1:d between the
quotes as a possible way to get X to load. Then you have to update grub.
I am not sure how to update grub at that point except type sudo update grub?
