The login is the user name you entered during the installation and the
password is the password you entered (twice) during the installation.
However I'm not sure if the "garyubuntu" is the real login name. IIRC,
you are asked for a full name for the first user, next you are asked for
a user name (that's the login you need here) and there the system
suggests something derived from the full name you entered first. Then
ist asks for a password. Finally you are asked for a host name for your
machine. Again the system suggests something derived from the full name
(or from the user name you selected? - I can't remember). The
"garyubuntu" shown at the login prompt is definitely the host name, so
you should probably try "gary" as login and if that isn't accepted, try
"garyubuntu".
