I'm not aware of anything directly like it, no, and it's a major
weakness in the FOSS and Linux business offering. However, TBH, Linux
never was a desktop OS for business for the most part and never will
be. It might have a role as an OS for thin clients & graphical
terminals in VDI deployments but that's about it.

The closest thing that used to be an alternative -- and in fact is
more of a forerunner to LanMan domains - was YellowPages, AKA YP and
later -- after the phonebook people complained -- NIS, or Network
Information Services.
