Personally, I'd say the difference between ~50MB (Adobe Reader) and
~250MB (LibreOffice) - a factor of 5 - is a pretty significant
difference, yes.

Secondly, I am incredulous that people are suggesting installing an
entire new office suite onto users' computers as a solution for a
file-format problem.
