TouchPad of my Laptop stop working many times after resuming from
sleep / hibernate / suspend.

Any suggestion / pointer / solution is welcome.

IMO, it may work, if I know the kernel module.

How to find Kernel module for this device?

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Touchpad_Synaptics#Touchpad_does_not_work_after_resuming_from_hibernate.2Fsuspend

suggest following solution:

1) Switching to a console and back again,
2) entering sleep mode again, and resuming again, or

The above two fail to work.

On console terminal (Ctrl + Alt + F1) I keep on getting messages:

i2c_designware INT33C3:00: Unknown Synopsys component type: 0x00000000
i2c_designware INT33C3:00: timeout in enabling adapter
i2c_designware INT33C3:00: controller timed out

3) locating the correct kernel module, then removing it and inserting it again.

For this I need to know how to locate "correct kernel module".

If it is "psmouse" then solution might be:

modprobe -r psmouse #psmouse happens to be the kernel module for my
touchpad (Alps DualPoint)
modprobe psmouse

File /proc/bus/input/devices has:

I: Bus=0018 Vendor=06cb Product=2889 Version=0100
N: Name="SYN1EA2:00 06CB:2889"
P: Phys=
