It's a mistake, since it's solvable by using MIME Digest
http://www.list.org/mailman-member/node28.html ;). That mailman mailing
lists default to not using MIME digest is very bad. The Debian mailing
user mailing list doesn't give the subscribers a choice, it only sends
MIMI digest.
