Query about screen capture to create video of session

Most of them do not record an application's run as such, but record
either the whole screen or a nominated window from the time you click a
start button or similar, until you click a stop button.

I've used Record My Screen, Kazam and VokoScreen, all are OK. I liked
VokoScreen best, but it's probably more a matter of personal taste that
technical difference. I tend to prefer things that are in the repos
over things that require a PPA to be set up.
