Yes, I too have an (*older*) Lenovo and Linux (CentOS 6) works great on it.

But I have never tried to install any version of Linux on a *tablet* laptop. I
will try the "live" version before doing to the install -- I just wanted to
get an advanced sense of what sort of "gotchas" I will be encountering with
this machine.
