I don't see Geeqie as a general purpose dup finder - I see it as
something that has a very good dup PHOTO finder, and only use it for
pix.

Yeah - it sounded worse than it is. I'm just enough afraid to choose not
to do it. :-) <- [both eyes are "suspicious eyes".]
