Yes. Of course it's really a question of _which_ gigantic evil dot-com
you prefer to trust. I trust Google more than Microsoft, and I don't
trust Google much.
MS has offered Android products for a while now. Android is Linux
underneath a weird userland. So desktop Linux is not much of a
stretch. I have MS Teams and MS Skype on Linux boxes and they work.
And of course MS now has its own _public_ Linux distro:
