To install some new parts in completely obsolete hardware is much likely
not cheap, it more likely is expensive and stupid.
I'm not against using old hardware for as long as possible, as long as
the area of application is appropriate and if the user knows what she
does.
What kind of computer is needed depends on the kind of "I.T. tuition
session". If it's about basic knowledge dash, those old computer are ok.
If it's about general use of computers in 2023, the computers are
garbage, with or without a new SSD.
