Enable swap compression. For me it dramatically reduced swap usage and
_improved_ performance.
Add
zswap.enabled=1
to the kernel command line.
Use GRUB command line editing to try it. If you're happy, make it
permanent. Add it to the boot line in `/etc/default/grub` and then run
`sudo update-grub`.
