I would assume /usr/local/share/fonts/... in the appropriate
subdirectory (opentype or truetype) but I don't use Libre Office.
But if it works the way I would expect, it will call on fontconfig, so
anywhere that fonts get indexed ought to show up in the Libre Office
font menu.
/etc/fonts/conf.avail/08-system.conf references /usr/local/share/fonts,
so I guess try it and see. I note that type1 (Postscript fonts) is
commented out in my 08-system.conf, but Type 1 fonts are legacy nowadays.
