I don't think there should be a dedicated font location for Libreoffice.
Fonts should be available for all applications, system-wide or per user
profile.
By convention, under /usr/local there can be the same directory
structure as under /usr, but for local additions and overrides, which
should not be disturbed by system installations or upgrades.
Or you could use Font Management in System Settings to “Install from
File…” any downloaded font files.
