What is the actual problem, Phil?

Is it that you want to replace the Nighthawk M1?

Or is it that you want to block the Nighthawk's chitchat?

Or replace the Nighthawk only if you can't block the chitchat?

Several other manufacturers make very similar mobile routers - D-Link
and TP-Link for a start, plus any number of Chinese manufacturers and
their rebadgers.

telemetry, given that that link is outside your network.
