Stuck autorepeat key - Thinkpad X1 carbon (gen 12 or 13)

I have this new laptop running Ubuntu 24.

As I'm slapping away on its keyboard, occasionally a key (different one each  
time) gets "stuck", and begins to autorepeat, until I mash it again. It's a  
missed scancode.

Is anyone else having the same issue on the same hardware, I'm hoping that  
it's just a minor hardware incompatibility with the older LTS kernel, that a  
kernel update will eventually address.
