Using GParted via TigerVNC how to enable on LinuxMint?

The authentication popup is not displaying via VNC, for some reason.
Perhaps it is displaying on the wrong display, or off the screen.
If, after starting it normally via VNC, you enter your password and
hit enter, does it then work?
