OK, I made my most recent one about a month ago.
The other is like 3-4 years old.
I have now bitten the bullet and installed an Ubuntu Server 2024.04.1 LTS on my
NUC hardware in an attempt at NOT transplanting but configure the new server as
closely as possible like the old one. (I am losing too much time trying to make
the new server a clone of the old).
So now I want to add a GParted bootable from the grub menu to the system drive
for ease of access. Can I use version 1.6xxx then?
And since this syetem is as of now not a multi-boot system how can I convert it
to dual-boot with GParted being one selection?
I can for the time being handle the drive using the Ventoy that works, but it is
convenient to have it on the boot selection.

I will have a try at thta too..

No graphics, this is a *server* installation, so no desktop.
But I was thinking about maybe installing a GUI on the server like XFCE or MATE
but with none of the overhead applications that come when one installs the
Ubuntu Desktop version.

Later I found that the flag cannot be set when creating the partition, but once
it is there I can set it using GParted. So it is a 2-step operation.

I will try that too.
THanks!
Now I am going to compile a to-do list for installing/configuring whatever needs
to be done to get my servers up on the new system.
I have the running system to peek at / copying configurations from...
