Chrome Update does not work

Did you install Google Chrome yourself or was it installed by default for
you?

I am running Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS and I have both Chromium and Firefox
installed by default (as snaps, if I remember correctly). Updating snaps is
easy with the command
$ sudo snap refresh

Does that help?
