"Open as Root" on nemo/25.10

Hi All

I've run into an issue

Using nemo asmy file manager I'm accustomed to been able to use "Open as Root" 
on any dir, but since moving to 25.10 this no longer works, no warnings no 
password request just nothing

A net search finds nothing, only DuckAI has any ideas but they are only vague 
"may bes" with no answers

I wonder if this is also related to the problem with transmission and 
permissions?
