New Icon - but doesnt activate anything

Ran the updates this morning and after rebooting I have a icon that says 
"EN" in my toolbar. 
"IBus Panel: you can toggle the activate menu and context one with clicking 
the mouse
middle button on the panel icon"  Middle click does nothing. Ive installed 
nothing. What 
is this supposed to be for?
