If not obvious, the answer to whether you can remove and reinstall
Deja-Dup, the answer is Yes.

Instead of asking if you can remove and reinstall Deja-Dup, why don't
you ask how to see which password is being used for the Deja-Dup
backups?

And an answer to another inexpensive NAS backup utility, try
Duplicity.  It is also free and open source.

(There are many people who will answer questions they believe you
_should have_ asked.  I try to avoid doing that.  I assume you know
what you are doing, and you know what you want to do).
