That seems to be response from the snap-store server. Not sure what
prompted it, though. The following might shed a little more light
$ sudo snap debug state --change 763 /var/lib/snapd/state.json
The last entry will be the "Monitoring snap" one. The number at the
beginning is its task ID. Take it and plug into <ID> for this command
$ sudo snap debug state --task <ID> /var/lib/snapd/state.json
On my system task ID was 10447 so the output was this
$ sudo snap debug state --task 10447 /var/lib/snapd/state.json
id: 10447
kind: check-rerefresh
summary: Monitoring snap "firefox" to determine whether extra refresh
steps are required
status: Done
log: |
2025-11-19T12:58:42-06:00 INFO No re-refreshes found.

Firefox refreshed without error on my system, but perhaps there'll be
some added information from the last command which will give clue as to
what happened on your system.
I think firefox probably installed ok, but you could always save a
snapshot, uninstall the snap then reinstall it. In fact, if you remove
the snap *without* the "--purge" option a snapshot will automatically be
taken. It can be restored with
$ sudo snap restore <id> firefox --users=<your username>
