about gateway4 directive (yaml of netplan)

Hello.

I have a question regarding the gateway4 directive in netplan configuration
files (.yaml), which was deprecated between Ubuntu 20.04 and 22.04.

1,Will there be any prior notice before the gateway4 directive is
officially removed?

2,If prior notice is given, how far in advance will it be announced?

3,Is it possible for the gateway4 directive to be removed suddenly without
any prior notice?

4,After the gateway4 directive is removed, will it no longer be possible to
configure network settings (IP address, default gateway, netmask, DNS)
using the netplan command?
