might be long shot -- ubuntu webserver/email server -- test setup

Hi.

Have test ubuntu/digitalocean server.

Looking to setup a test "url" so I can do a www.foo.com, or
www.abc.com, and have the correct test url/webapp be displayed. Also
looking to have test email "mx" process setup to send/receive email on
the box.

I know this requires:

1- purchased domain urls
2- going through the DO process to map the url to the ipaddress of the
cloud server
3- setting up the httpd/apache config attributes to invoke this
4- setting up the email server/service (no clue on this)

So, has anyone got experience with this that I can talk to. I'd like
to make sure I'm on the right path/steps before going down the rabbit
hole.

Currently looking through different docs/sites.
