Hi,

that's more or less true, but in the past, some free email accounts
worked for mailing lists. I weighed up how much these companies
benefited from the free service and accepted this form of payment.

One of my email accounts is with an â’¶utonomous tech collective, which is
essentially free, or at least I should make a small donation again this
year.

I don't want to rely solely on this one reasonable email account, as the
servers are located in a democracy that is currently being dismantled.
Furthermore, I don't want to overload this free service with too much
traffic, as I don't have the financial means to support it with adequate
donations.

Unfortunately, having my own server is out of the scope for me.

Perhaps I should review which inexpensive providers are available and
how they are rated. But I'm pessimistic about that too, because nowadays
a cell phone number is expected almost everywhere.

Regards,
Ralf
