[ubuntu-za] Problems with my Dell machine

Thanks Michael,

The trouble with doing the version migration - update is that you can't skip
versions. So I would have to go from 6.06 to 6.10 to 7.04 to 7.10 which is
an awful lot of PT compared to just installing 7.10 from scratch.

Actually, the best advice that I have got from the forums is, "If 6.06 isn't
broken, don't fix it!" I think I will probably follow that advice.
