It's likely that Feisty will work fine on a new motherboard. However
some components like on-board sound or video might change from one model
or type to another. More and more hardware detection now happens on the
running system, but some of it still only happens when you install.
What this means is, some things might need to be reconfigured - but go
ahead and I'm sure you can get help here to fix anything that stops working.
