Did you try pressing F2 on the yodata keyboard?

Can't you just borrow a USB keyboard first?
I could if I could find someone who had one! I found 12 SP2 keyboards
before I stopped trying to borrow one.
But the good news is that I eventually found a local shop that had a USB
keyboard. And the other good news is that F2 works fine and I was able
to set the boot sequence and test drive Intrepid and right now I am
installing it on a virtual machine ...
Lesson - don't but a Yodaya keyboard.

I second the comment on Yodata. I've got a Yodata PS/2
keyboard. After a month a lot of the letter have worn off and after
dropping the keyboard half the keys fell off and I had to figure where
they all went. I wouldn't surprise me if the keyboard was the problem.

I have talked with the smart guys at Mecer and it is definitely
F2.
The confusion about "Enable Legacy USB" is a red herring.
Mecer suggested that my YoData keyboard might be a problem. So I
went out to buy a common or garden normal USB keyboard. But you must
remember that we are living in Modimolle and here we can buy any number
of wireless keyboard + mouse sets for R450+, but not a single common or
garden USB keyboard attached to the PC by a cable for normal keyboard
prices.
Luckily I am going to the Big Smoke this weekend and should be
able to buy one there.
