[ubuntu-za] No PS2 keyboard

I know SO many people use the numberpad with NUMLOCK on, but home, end,
insert, delete, pg up, pg dn, are ALL on the number pad (when numlock is
switched off).
When I need to type loads of numbers then I also put Numlock on (and I
might even use the small arrows, though usually Enter or Tab will
suffice), but the rest of the time (coding for instance), I find my way
using the numberpad's End, Home, pgup, gpdn and delete (I hardly ever
use insert - though in the old Pascal code editors ctrl-ins was paste).

-Reenen

Interesting, thanks. I ended up buying a wired Logitech Classic keyboard
at Games for R169 but now am really annoyed with myself. I noticed it in
the shop but thought it should not be such a big deal. I am so used to
the layout of the standard keyboards over the years with the two rows of
keys
Insert, Home, PgUp
Delete, End, PgDn
On the Logitech classic those keys are in 3 rows
Home, End
Insert, PgUp
Delete, PgDn
Never realised before how much I use these keys without even thinking
about there position. :-(
Regards,
Gustav
