Still wrestling with my error message "tuner-simple 0-004b: i2c i/o
error: rc == -5 (should be 4)"

I have googled extensively on this and found several instances of the
same problem, and not only with the saa7134 card, but also a few
instances with Hauppauge cards, that are known to be compatible with
V4l, which leads me to believe the problem may not be with the card.
Unfortunately, all I found were questions - but no answers.

I don't want to give up on this too easily. Does anyone have any idea
what determines rc5 and rc4, or what the letters "rc" even stand for, so
that I can delve a little deeper?

Robert
