I would recommend you stick to Ubuntu. Kubuntu's interface is very different
to Ubuntu's, and it comes with it's own set of programs instead of the ones
you find in Ubuntu. Also, Ubuntu is more well known than Kubuntu, so you'll
get a lot more help for Ubuntu than you will for Kubuntu.
