Thanks Brenton. I have just typed sudo aptitude install xchat
it did it's thing but where has it gone to. or has it taken over the
other xchat in applications internet xchat irc
As you must have gathered by now I am quite stupid when it comes to pc's
and ubuntu. Also I thinking of trying to get an alternate 9.10 cd to
upgrade my 9.04 ubuntu. how does everyone feel about Kubuntu . Will it
be easier than ubuntu and is there much extra to learn then.
I'm like in wonderland with all this help from so many people who
actually want to help .
Thanks you guys
Miles
