Hi all, I have installed 12.04 and want to give unity a fair
        chance
before going to gnome again somehow. There must be a good reason
        why
unity is becoming so popular. I would just like to know how to
        make it
possible to open a separate terminal at whichever workspace I am
        using
not to keep opening in new tabs on the already open terminal.
        Can this
        be done?
        Thanks
        Miles

Middle click (mouse wheel) on the launcher icon works for me.

Tom
