Hi René,
the easiest way to fix this issue under hardy would be to package kicad 20080825c-final.
But even in LTS versions there will be no updates for packages like kicad, they are not important enough.

I am sorry but I cant explain this better since I am not so
experienced...

But for yourself this issue is solved and from 9.04 on it will be fixed
for everyone, isnt it?
