This is usually due to a corrupted postrm script (empty file). To workaround this situation open a terminal and run
$ sudo rm /var/lib/dpkg/info/gnome-wine-icon-theme.postrm
$ sudo apt-get remove --purge gnome-wine-icon-theme

This will likely resolve your issue. If so please set the bug's status
to Invalid. Thanks in advance!
