[Bug 396579] [NEW] Calender broken in 4.3 rc1

Public bug reported:

Calender will not save new apointments/events. It opens the event and
data is entered but will not save and appear in calander.

I use kdepim 4.3 rc1 on a kubuntu karmic infrastructure dated 7 july 2009.
It runs on AMD 64 computer.

It is a critical bug which needs urgent attention
