Happened to me, too. This is a regression since Jaunty.
$ uname -a

$ sudo isoinfo dev=/dev/cdrom -fJ | grep -i bigpick
/Data/BigPicker.MHK
$ mount /dev/cdrom
$ ls /media/cdrom/data | grep -i bigpick
bigpicke.mhk
Installing Kid Pix 4 fails because the installer puts up a dialog
saying "Can't find data/BigPicker.MHK". The file appears
as "data/bigpicke.mhk" when mounted on karmic. It appeared
with the proper long name when mounted on jaunty.
And my son is very disappointed!
