Centered generally isn't always the best place to position windows, and
I'd hate it if my window manager did that. If I open 2 or 3 windows
consecutively, the window manager should position them intelligently so
that I don't have to then spend time rearranging my desktop because it
put all the windows in the centre. This currently works correctly.
If a particular application needs its window needs to be in the centre,
then it is the responsibility of the application to request this.
If you're using Compiz, then you can already change the behaviour for
placing new windows (and centre is one of the options)
