Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: cryptsetup

After a fresh install of Karmic Beta at two equal 750GB disks with raid and crypto, the system hangs while booting.
The two software raids are assembled succesfull and the crypt partion is opened succesfull. (After entering password)

System Setup:
220MB on each disk for Raid1 Boot disk. (ext2)
749GB on each Disk as Raid0 and configured as a crypto interface. This Raid0 has a size of 1,5TB and set up as a crypto device. (dm1_crypt)
In the Crypt device is set up a LVM ( with two logical devices (a root partion called haupt-root (ext4), and a swap partition called haupt-swap (swap) ).

Boot Message:
...
Running Skripts /init-bottom...
fsck from util-linux-ng 2.16
/dev/mapper/haupt-root clean
Starting init crypto disk
md1_crypt (running)
------ no the System stops ------

I can open the raid devices from an other running Linux and open the
crypted LVM and open the root partition. Everthings looks fine.
"/var/log/messages" has no information for me.

I have the same Problems with Alternate and Server install.

please help and greetings,
thomas
