[Bug 450615] [NEW] grub welcon scree fail

This is by design, per:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DesktopExperienceTeam/KarmicBootExperienceDesignSpec#Bootloader

Hold down Shift at boot time to get to the menu. Alternatively, if
booting into Ubuntu fails, the next boot will show you the menu
automatically.
