By latest version you mean the version in Jaunty or 0.12?
Please start Picard with the --debug switch, the debug output might help
identifying the file which is causing this. If you are using Picard 0.12
this is most probably a problem with ffmpeg, not Picard itself. In this
case updating ffmpeg could help, but this might be difficult if you have
other packages installed which rely on ffmpeg.
