Please find the autofoo fixes we discussed on IRC in the attached patch.

This moves to external gettext and pkg-configs gtk+.

This fixed the bulk of the issues for me.

You just need to run the make -C po kasumi.pot, set LDFLAGS as explained
in bug #403189 and update build-deps after this patch (you certainly do
want to get it upstream though).
