[xubuntu-users] 15.04 Not Booting To Desktop After AMD Site Driver Install?

With the proprietary drivers, the kernel doesn’t work with mode. In 
/etc/default/grub, replace GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet splash” 
with GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT=”quiet splash nomodeset” then run 
update-grub command and reboot.
