[xubuntu-users] Chromium updates (16.04 LTS) - you tube clips

I too was having problems with Chrome as well. It seemd to be using too many
resources. I also tried Firefox and then remembered Opera was also
available.

I work with Cryptocurrencies and was aware of a problem with Chrome apps
were infected with a bitmining virus.  At the time of my research I found
Opera
was the only browser that had code built in to prevent this sort of thing
from
happening.

So I made the decision to change to Opera and I have found I like it very
much and have not any problems to speak of.

Now I didn't get rid of Chrome because there are apps I amy need to run from
time to time. So when i need them I just launch Chrome perform the task
and then close chrome.

Not sure if this helps, but I think you should think about giving Opera a
try.
