Yes, it means I can easily view images and (occasionally, when
necessary) HTML E-Mails when connected via ssh and reading E-Mails.  I
have .mailcap configured to copy the files from server to laptop and
inotifywait pops up the viewer when the files arrive.

OK, thanks.  I found some discussion in the xfce4 area on github (I
*think* it was there) about adding this feature but I couldn't really
follow where they had taken it in the end.
