[xubuntu-users] Frequent loss of xmodmap settings

I understand.  Whatever is causing the problem, it is something that has
changed in Ubuntu since 24.04.  I do not remember having this problem
back under 22.04.  Could it possibly be related to anything that systemd
and it's many components are doing to reset the IO system.  It doesn't
necessarily have to be X11-related, just something the is undoing the
modifications that xmodmap is making.  Just a thought.
