Before you do, have a look at
https://bugs.launchpad.net/launchpad-code/+bug/485625 and see whether
this covers your concerns.

Mirroring is done every minute, and diff regeneration is done every
minute, so after the push completes, the average delay after the push
completes will be one minute (assuming diff and mirror complete
instantly, of course).
