I am using Edgy with all updates, and when I would do an apt-get install or
anything, I would get the autoremove message as well. Last night I went ahead
and did it. What it removes is pretty much 'kubuntu-desktop'. So once it was
finished removing, I did 'apt-get install kubuntu-desktop' and was good to
go. One thing I noticed, as this fixed a couple of problems for me as well. I
don't know if it is a bug or what, but yes, it removes everything, Amarok
included ;(
