Downloads do not complete. Jaunty Alpha6 KDE

I don't know if there is a GUI program which can resume downloads, but 
you can open konsole and use the command

wget -c "http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/jaunty/alpha-6/jaunty-desktop-i386.iso"

where you replace the URL if necessary. OTOH, you could use ktorrent:
 
<http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/kubuntu/releases/jaunty/alpha-6/jaunty-desktop-i386.iso.torrent>
